Collagen is not a gimmick!

I have never tried collagen powder before but I know how important it is to our skin elasticity, and it makes up about 70% of our skin! ⁣⁣
⁣ ⁣⁣
My moms would always tell me to drink more both broth, eat sea cucumber 海參 or swallow bird’s nest 燕窩 to help with stretch marks, wrinkles and fine lines because they are rich in collagen. Of course, I never do… first I don’t know where to find a trustworthy store here, and second they are EXPENSIVE! ⁣⁣

⁣ ⁣⁣
I was never the type of person that cares too much about stretch marks and lines on my belly because nobody is going to see it, it is not like I wear clothes that show my tummy🙈. ⁣

But since I started working out and working on my core, I am feeling so much more confident and happier in my own skin so why not try this collagen to see if the stretch marks would go away because it doesn’t require any effort other then remembering to drink it! If it works, hot dang.. puhahahaahaha💃💃💃⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Holy moly, because I look at myself everyday I didn’t realize how big of a difference it was! I was like WHAT when I saw the comparison?! ⁣

Postpartum Dry Brushing

Learn to dry brush your skin once every other days on your tummy; you can brush more often on your thighs. I found that if I dry brush every day on my tummy, the skin becomes too sensitive and bumpy.

Skin brushing provides many benefits in the treatment of cellulite. It’s an “exercise” for your skin, and it strengthens the underlying dermis and pattern of collagen in the subcutaneous layer. It stimulates the
growth and repair of the tissues by increasing blood flow to the area. It also helps remove toxins and metabolic wastes out of the interstitial fluids surrounding the tissues for disposal.

How do you dry brush the tummy?

First, apply the oil or lotions we mentioned. Then use a handheld dry

brush. You can easily find it on Amazon or at your local drug store. They are relatively inexpensive less than $10.

Second, look at the mirror and see how your stretch marks

fold. For me, I had a massive belly due to diastasis recti when I carried both my son and daughter. One was overdue and the other I carried her until 39 weeks, so my tummy was huge.

My stretches marks all hung toward the middle and below my belly button. There are also a lot of stretch marks just above the underwear line and above the belly button as well.

Third, I dry brush it AGAINST the direction of where the stretch marks fold.

I would dry brush on either side of the belly button and brush it away from the belly button. Then the wrinkle above the underwear line, I would brush it toward the pubic bones area, so all the wrinkles are hidden under my underwear.

For the stretch marks above the belly button, since it is dragging toward the belly button, I brush it in an upward motion toward my chest. Then any other area, I brush it in a circular motion.

Remember to hydrate the skin first with a lot of oils and lotions and re-apply it as you need to during brushing, 5 to 10 minutes every day or every other day is recommended.

See lotion recommendation here inside the postpartum stretch marks.

Give it some love and care consistently

Stretch marks at times can seem like they are a lot to deal with but if you are patient and take the time needed to work on them you should have no trouble making them less of a problem for yourself. Deep conditioners lotions and oils, like cocoa butter and lavender oil, dry brush helps improve blood circulation, and it encourages the oils to penetrate deep into the skin layers.

And collagen supplement are the things you need to start implementing today to get the results you want.
